Astrid Menks’s life before marriage
The start of the relationship between Astrid and Warren was not something ordinary. Astrid had a good friendly relationship with his first wife Susan Buffett.
Susan was the one to introduce them when she was going to Omaha to pursue her music career. She took care of him since 1977 after Susan started living separately for her music career.
After a few years, Susan and Warren renewed their marriage until Susan’s death in 2004. Before the demise of Susan, she and Astrid had a good friendship. They also made a Christmas card together with the name of Astrid, Susan, and Warren Buffet.
Astrid Menks is a second wife of Buffett
Astrid took care of the businessman and his house. In 2006, on the occasion of Warren’s 76th birthday tied the knot with his longtime friend Astrid Menks.
After 2 years of the death of the first wife, he legally married her. Warren and Susan have three children together. Menks took of their three children after tieing the knot with Buffett.
The couple together with their children resides in their house in Omaha which is estimated worth $11 million. Menks is a supportive wife and a loving mother to the kids.

The career path of Menks
Menks who were born in Lativa moved to the US to pursue their career. She started working in a cafe in Nebraska. While she met Susan and Warren, Menks was serving as a waitress.
At the time, she was working at The French Cafe cocktail bar in Omaha, Nebraska. At the time, Susan used to sing at the cafe and she encountered Menks.
The girls started having good bonds and it turned into a great friendship later.
Astrid Menks lives a simple life
Though she is the wife of a billionaire, she still tends to live a simple life. As per his daughter, Menks tied the knot with her father for all the right reasons.
Furthermore, she also stated Menks would still be with her father if he was not a billionaire. Menks serves various philanthropic causes.
