Most celebrities and stars go in for a pompous wedding and reception. They have wealth and fame and hence have a lavish wedding affair. But some of them prefer to have an intimate ceremony for their wedding and others go in for secrecy about their wedding.
They either do not want to be harassed by the paparazzi or just prefer to keep the whole affair a low-key one. Whatever the reason, best known to them, there are a significant number of celebrities who have got secretly married and either disclosed it later to their fans or the information about their wedding has been leaked by someone later on to the press.

Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley
Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley had met in 2013 and resided in London for many years before deciding to tie the knot but secretly. There were only 50 guests and they too did not know the location which was somewhere in Australia.
There was an abundance of security guards at the wedding which took place on 18 December 2016. It is learned that the special attendees were not allowed to take inside the wedding premises their cameras or cell phones.
They did not do any official announcement about the ceremony and it was only later when rumors of their secret wedding started doing the rounds did Margot Robbie take to Instagram to confirm the news. She also posted a picture of her stunning ring.
Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy
The couple Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy had been dating since 2010 and there were initially some rumors that they would wed in the summer of 2016.
But while people and fans were just wondering and guessing, the couple secretly got wed in Midtown East on 27 November 2015, which took everybody by surprise.
There have not been any details out about the marriage and no pictures also have been uploaded to their social media. Very secretive indeed!

It was also said that in November 2016, the couple decided to renew their marriage vows in Europe after their On The Run Tour, and this time too it was a secretive affair!
