The swimmer won the 10m Platform diving Gold medal with a staggering 357.50 points for England at the Commonwealth Games.
After her victorious win, the 17-year-old was seen wiping tears from her eyes and hugging her coach. Her father, Fred Sirieix who was witnessing the joyous moment from the sidelines in Birmingham, jumped for joy.
It was Andrea’s first ever Commonwealth Games and made her family proud with her sensational win.
Her England team-mate Lois Toulson won silver and had previously claimed bronze from 2018 on the Gold Coast.
Since her second dive, Andrea had been leading her competitors and finished over 20 points above her compatriot.
Afterward, the First Dates star took to Instagram to share his happiness and called his daughter mon caneton, which means my duckling.
He captioned:

The doting father also shared his excitement on Twitter by writing:
“That last dive! To pull it off like that! Wow!!!! What a performance!”

Andrea won a silver at the Commonwealth Games after a gold
Apart from the gold at Commonwealth, Andrea has also won bronze at the 2022 World Championships in Budapest, and silver and bronze at the 2020 European Championships.
Now the professional has a bright career in front of herself and will have her eyes on Olympic glory.
Just days after winning her historic gold, the athlete won a silver in the 10m synchro platform competition.
She shared the silver with Eden Cheng, as the duo closely trailed Australia’s Charlie Petrov and Melissa Wu.
Proud dad, Fred was there to support his daughter from the sidelines at Sandwell Aquatics Centre as she took home her second medal.
Appearing in high spirits, the 50-year-old took his son Lucien to support Andrea.
As always, the proud dad shared his daughter’s yet another win at the Commonwealth. He called his daughter poetry to watch.
