Actress Robyn Bernard found dead in an open field
Robyn Bernard, who was famous for her role in the hit soap opera General Hospital, has died. She was 64.
According to a press release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the actress’s body was recovered from an “open field behind a business” in San Jacinto, Calif. on Tuesday morning.
The actress who won many hearts with her character Terry Brock in the long-running soap opera was pronounced dead at 4:08 a.m.
According to TMZ, officers identified the actress using her fingerprints following a call to police for a death investigation.
The outlet also reported that an autopsy will take place on Wednesday. However, toxicology results could take a few weeks.
Police do not suspect any foul play in her death.
Fans offered their last respects to the late actress on social media. One wrote,
”Oh, no. This is very sad news. She was a beautiful and talented Lady. RIP Robyn.”
Another wrote,

A third person commented,

A look at Bernard’s life and career
Robyn was born on May 26, 1959, in Gladewater, Texas. Before starting her acting career, she did numerous small TV roles including on Diva, Simon & Simon, and Betty Blue.
In 1984, she was cast on General Hospital as Terry Brock, aka Terry O’Connor. She did the role for 145 episodes until she departed from the show in 1990.
Some other movies that Bernard did were Whiz Kids, The Facts of Life, The Facts of Life, Tour of Duty, and Kings for a Day.
Her last Hollywood project was Voices from High School in 2002, where she starred as a psychologist. Since then, she remained out of the spotlight.
While her mother is no more, Robyn is survived by her father Jerry Wayne Bernard, and two sisters Crystal and Scarlett.
