DJ Envy‘s wife Gia Casey is an Instagram sensation, podcast host, businesswoman, and newly turned author.

Besides, she also runs a YouTube channel under the name The Cassey Crew where she invites different guests and has tough conversations about love, dating, relationship, and so on.

The channel has garnered more than $25.9k subscribers as of now. Taking these things aside, she is also popular as the wife of dis jockey DJ Envy. The two were high school sweethearts and met in the early 90s. Similarly, they have been married since 2001.

The two altogether six children Madison, 20, Logan, 18, London, 8, Jaxson, 7, Brooklyn, 5, and Peyton, 5-months. Gia gave birth to their youngest child Peyton on November, 30 last year.

Gia Casey and DJ Envy launched a debut book

On April 19, they published their first book named Real Life, Real Love: Life Lessons on Joy, Pain, and The Magic That Holds Us Together.

The book is all about the relationship advice in which the couple describes how they have remained together “despite Raashaun’s rising notoriety, a painful (and very public) cheating scandal, and the births of six children.”

Nevertheless, the couple decided to keep certain parts of their life out of this particular book as some situations were simply too touchy to speak about because of legal issues. While speaking to HipHopDX, Casey clarified,

“There was a section of the book that we wrote and for legal reasons, we had to take it out. I’ll just suffice it to say that it was an incident that RaaShaun went through where he was robbed.”

Cheating Scandals

Throughout their long journey, the couple’s relationship took a hit in 2012 when DJ Envy cheated on his wife, Gia Casey with his former mistress, Erica Mena. Erica is now married to Safaree Samuels.

In a recent interview, when The Shade Room questioned how she dealt with the cheating scandals, she responded,

“I have to accept him, accept what he did and move forward in a positive way where we’re both nurtured. Just because you have the ability to abuse somebody, doesn’t mean you should take that ability. Doesn’t mean that you should exploit that. Once I learned better, I was responsible to do better.”
