Glenn Maxwell, 33, and his Indian fiancee Vini Raman are all set to tie the knot in the following month. The wedding date has been fixed for March 27 this year, which is very close to the 2022 Indian Premier League. The league is scheduled between 2 April and 3 June held in M.A. Chidambaram Stadium Chennai.

Their wedding invitation card has already started to be distributed to their family, friends, and close ones. The couple’s marriage might be held in Melbourne in a traditional Tamil-brahmin wedding. The Indian actress Kasturi Shankar confirmed the news after sharing the picture of the invitation card.
She wrote,
“GlennMaxwell marrying Vini Raman. Going by the cute traditional Tamil muhurta patrikai, we’d bet there may likely be a TamBram ceremony… Will there be a white gown wedding too? Congratulations Glenn and Vini”
Who is Vini Raman?
The future wife of Maxwell, Vini was born to a Tamil family based in Melbourne, Australia. However, she is a native of India. Talking about her profession, she is a Melbourne-based pharmacist. She went to Mentone Girls Secondary College in Victoria and received a degree in medical science.
Vini came into the spotlight of the media in 2019 when Maxwell took his lady love at the Australian Cricket Awards. Further, she loves swimming, traveling, and watching matches live from the stadium in her spare time.

Glenn Maxwell and Vini Raman’s love life
The multi-racial couple has been dating each other since 2017. They first met at a Melbourne Stars, BBCL team event. Then the two make their first move in 2020 in their relationship. On 13 March 2020, the pair got engaged last year which was held in Melbourne in a traditional Indian ceremony.
They both wore green ethnic Indian attire for the event. Maxwell wore a Sherwani whereas Vini was in a lehenga chunni.
While speaking to Neroli Meadows on the Ordineroli Speaking Podcast, Maxwell had reminisced about the moment when his initial plans to propose to Raman fell through. He planned to propose to Raman in a park.
Maxwell explained,
“we went for a walk and everything felt so wrong. I was so confident in my head about what I was going to do and it all went to s*** basically. Will Pucovski drives past, honking his horn and waving and I thought, ‘Well that’s ruined Plan C’. I was rattled at that stage,”
He said that he was more nervous than playing in a World Cup Final. After his initial plan failed he decided to take Raman to a nearby public park. The couple often featured each other on their respective IG handle.
