Previously, police arrested Steven Smith, 35, concealing the actor’s body following his death.
NYPD officials claimed that Smith was seen in CCTV footage dumping the late actor’s body from a car and admitted to doing so during an unrelated police interrogation. However, he denied any involvement in Vallelonga Jr.’s passing.
He told the authorities:
“That dude was already dead. He overdosed. I didn’t have anything to do with that. Pam came up to me and said someone overdosed in the car. I went to the car and drove off. I can’t remember which way.”
He continued:
“I went to Barrett where I dropped the body. I got the body out by pulling him out of the car on the floor. I don’t know the guy at all.”
The New York Daily News reported that an arrest warrant was issued in January when Steven missed a court appearance in the Bronx. However, since then, the case remains a mystery.
