A year full of Stress! Hailey Bieber reflecting on her 2022 health struggles
Hailey Bieber, 26 is speaking up about her 2022 health journey, really stressed. Justin Bieber‘s wife was admitted to the hospital with stroke-like symptoms caused by a blood clot in her brain.
As per the doctors, her health condition was cited as patent foramen ovale or PFO. PFO is a medical term for a small opening in the heart that didn’t close the way it should after birth.
She briefed,
“Even the first couple of times coming back here after was a little bit of a strange triggering kind of feeling for me because you just remember exactly how everything happened in that moment. But I think the bright side for me is that it led me to find out I had this hole in my heart.”
The March 2022 hospital admission still holds a deep scar on Hailey’s mental health. Being in Palm Springs during her health care journey and going through the whole procedure, she was having anxiety as she adds,
“I struggled with a lot of anxiety after. I struggled with a little bit of PTSD [Post Traumatic Stress Disorder] of just like the fear of maybe it was gonna happen again.”
Reflecting on her PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), The Rhode Skin Founder profounded her terrific feeling, continuing,
“It was just a feeling that I was, like, I never want to experience that ever again. I mean, it was so terrifying, so jarring, so discombobulating in every single way that you could imagine.”

Earlier, she also documented her journey of PFO, and her procedure to close it, and uploaded it on Youtube. She is grateful for the medical help she got and is nostalgic every time she sees the video on Youtube.
“Even the Youtube video that I had made for my Youtube channel was hard for me. It brings back the feelings for me of going through that experience. It gets easier, and easier with time to be able to talk about it. I’m just really grateful that I was able to have had amazing doctors, nurses, and people that helped me get to the bottom of what actually happened.”
When it comes to the truth part, on the latest episode of The Run-Through with Vogue podcast, Hailey described it as a very scary and very jarring experience though it went smoothly. She just said it,
“It was definitely the scariest thing I’ve ever gone through.”
While, Hailey Bieber just started to grow out of the dark part of her health, both physical and mental, she feels nervous. This fights of her against life without anxiety she moved over it but looking back is like,
“I look back at it and it could’ve been so much worse/ So many worse things could have happened in that moment.”
