Halsey and Alev Aydin Amicably Call It Quits After 2 Years of Dating!

Halsey and Alev Aydin are no more together
It’s over for Halsey and Alev Aydin who were together for 2 years. The songstress seeks full physical custody of the exes’ 1-year-old son, Endler Ridley.
Court documents show that the 28-year-old musician filed for full physical custody of their baby boy on April 5.
The Without Me singer who uses they/them pronouns requested joint legal custody and joint expenses with visitation rights.
Neither Halsey nor Aydin have confirmed their split on social media. However, a source close to the duo said they are doing fine and the split was amicable.
The source said on Friday,
“The split with them is totally amicable and they are co-parenting, they are going to raise their son together,”
They added that the Walls Could Talk singer “just had to file that way” because they are going on tour in the summer “and it’s a formality so the singer can bring their son with them.”
Halsey and Alev announced the baby news in January 2021 and simultaneously confirmed their relationship.
The Closer songstress shared a carousel of topless, baby bump-bearing photos on her social media at the time, writing, “Surprise!”
The then-expectant Grammy nominee was photographed by Sam Dameshek where she posed completely topless and only wearing a pair of baggy denim.
Aydin, for his part, shared the pictures to his Instagram Story and commented, “Heart so full, I love you, sweetness.”

Halsey suffered three miscarriages before 24
Less than six months later, the now exes welcomed their baby boy. Halsey went on to call the experience the most rare and euphoric birth. They named him Ender Ridley Aydin. The first name is a popular Turkish name meaning rare.
The Bad at Love songstress wrote on her Instagram page at the time,
“Gratitude. For the most ‘rare’ and euphoric birth. Powered by love,”
Prior to being the mother of a rainbow baby, the songstress revealed that they suffered a miscarriage three times before the age of 24.
They issued a letter for Vogue in the immediate aftermath of the Supreme Court’s recent decision to overturn Roe. v. Wade, writing,
“It seemed a cruel irony that I could get pregnant with ease but struggled to maintain a pregnancy,”
“One of my miscarriages required ‘aftercare,’ a gentle way of saying that I would need an abortion, because my body could not terminate the pregnancy completely on its own and I would risk going into sepsis without medical intervention.”
The songstress detailed the terrible yet life-saving experience saying that they were scared and helpless but knew that it was the only right option to do.
