In a recent episode of A&E’s docuseries “Secrets of Playboy,” Karissa said sex with him felt “like rape”. The series is all about Hefner’s life which explores the hidden truths behind the Hefner empire.

Karissa has a twin sister named Kristina Shannon. The two were born on October 2, 1989, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The twins were raised in Clearwater Beach, Florida. Talking about their academic background, they both attended Largo High School.

Shannon and her twin sister Kristina both dated Hefner between 2008 and 2010. The two are also known by the name Playboy Twins. At the time, the two were 18 whereas Hefner was 83. The two together appeared on the last season of the E! reality show, “The Girls Next Door”.

Pregnant with Hugh’s baby

In 2009, Shannon allegedly found out she was pregnant with Hef’s baby when she was 19 and Hefner was 84 at the time. After learning that she was pregnant she had an abortion.

She insisted to the Mirror,

“I wasn’t having sex with anyone else, so it only could have been his baby. I just wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible. It was like the devil was inside of me. I didn’t want anyone to know I was carrying an 83-year-old man’s child,”

The former playmate also addressed on Monday’s episode of A&E’s docuseries, “Secrets of Playboy”,” that having sex with the late media mogul was “like rape”.

She said,

“To me, it’s like rape. He used control mechanisms completely through everything, so I’m happy that I had the abortion.”

Karissa and her twin’s sister, Kristina once claimed they’ve suffered PTSD and depression as a result of the two years they lived with Hefner in his mansion. After that, the Shannon twins moved out of the mansion in January 2010, though they continued to appear in The Girls Next Door.

Legal issues

In November 2007, Karissa was arrested on a misdemeanor battery charge. The following year, the Shannon twins were both charged with aggravated battery after reportedly fighting with two others at a house party.

Last time, Karissa was arrested for felony domestic violence in her home for brutally assaulting the twins’ sister in 2007. As they were both injured while Kristina was merely charged with misdemeanor domestic violence.
