An irate Barack Obama expresses his concern about falling ratings and stubborn and clueless attitude of Joe Biden!
The current President of the USA, Joe Biden, 81 has plummeting approval ratings. But he seems to be stubbornly ignoring this vital aspect.
His obliviousness has angered his party’s former President, Barack Obama. The two had a recent showdown on this matter.
Joe Biden has lowered approval ratings
Joe Biden might have won the last presidential election USA in 2020. But he is no longer the favorite in his party and among the Americans. His approval ratings have declined drastically in the last few years.
The current survey revealed that only 38% of Americans approve of his performance. And 58% feel that his work is not up to the mark. They want him to leave office or not contest the next presidential election which will be this year.
On the other hand, Donald Trump, 77 is gaining a stronger foothold for the upcoming presidential elections. He is taking the lead in the national polls.
And this is happening even though he is an accused and under trial for 91 cases against him. Moreover, he is openly stating that he would be a dictator if he won back the 2024 presidential election. But still, he is gaining an upper hand in the upcoming polls.
Barack Obama is worried
The former President of the USA from the democratic party, Barack Obama, 62 is concerned about the poor performance of Joe Biden and his falling ratings. He feels that Joe needs to not contest the next election as this would save America and also the democratic party of the USA.
Barack had a hastened secret meeting with Joe on this issue. An insider told the National Enquirer:
“Obama read Joe the riot act,”
“He told him to up his game or step aside for a candidate who can win the race.”
But Joe continues to be stubborn and refuses to behave or act wisely. Barack is not a fan of Joe. In the 2016 elections, he had voted for Hillary Clinton and not Joe for the post.
Barack wants Joe to go in the attacking mode and have his reliable and trusted aides by his side always and avoid gaffes. Following this meeting, Joe did make some efforts to attack Donald in his speech before the third anniversary of the 6 January insurrection. He said at Valley Forge, PA:
“Donald Trump’s campaign is obsessed with the past, not the future,”
He continued:
“He’s willing to sacrifice our democracy, put himself in power.”
But later, he seemed to be lost and confused and could not talk well. His wife, Jill Biden, 62 then led him off from the stage. It was an embarrassment. The insider added:
“The Obamas are convinced Joe’s lost his grip,”
“He looks more feeble and clueless every day, and they know he’s lost the confidence of the public.”
Earlier Michelle Obama also felt the same and said:
“What’s going to happen in this next election?”
“I am terrified about what could possibly happen — because our leaders matter.”
Unavailability of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin
Joe’s Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was not available for many days due to the diagnosis of prostate cancer in him. He had to undergo surgery for it and was not available to guide Joe. This added to Joe’s woes and he was left with no idea or clue of the going-ons in the White House. About this, an insider revealed:
“It’s frightening on so many levels,”
“The fact that the president was clueless about a four-day absence of one of the most important members of his cabinet is staggering.”
Joe is forgetting things. New Jersey Republican Rep. Jeff Van Drew had remarked:
“We have a president that doesn’t know whether he’s coming or going.”
“God help us.”
