A surprise attack!
Another conflict has broken out between Israel and Palestine. At 6:30 AM on the morning, of October 7th, Hamas launched thousands of rockets from Gaza into Isreal.
According to Israeli Defence Forces, there were 2,200 rockets were fired while the Hamas group claimed there were 5,000 rockets were fired within 20 minutes.
There were thousands of people were killed and injured in Isreal because of these attacks.
In addition to the rocket strikes, Hamas’s catastrophic terrorists broke down the Israel-Gaza border boundary wall.
Many civilians’ homes were broken by Palestinians and they were even killed and held as hostages.
In response to these brutal attacks, Israel has declared a state of war.
Amid the ongoing crisis, celebrities took to social media platforms to express their concerns while standing up on the issue.
While many personalities have shown support for Israel, some have spoken out in support of Palestinians. Also, there were some who were neutral.
Madonna
The singer and songwriter, 65, took to Instagram to express her sympathy and support for Israel. She wrote,
“My heart goes out to Israel, To Families and Homes that have been destroyed. To children who are lost. To Innocent Victims who have Been Killed. To All who are Suffering or who will suffer from this conflict. I’m Praying For you.”

She added,
“I am aware that this is the work of Hamas and there are many innocent people in Palestine who do not support this terrorist organization, This Tragic attack will only cause more suffering for everyone Let us all Pray. For Israel. For Peace. For The World.”
Gal Gadot
Gal Gadot, an Israeli-born actress, shared an Israel flag on her Instagram handle, mourning the loss of her people and shedding light on the atrocities of Hamas. She wrote in the caption,
“I stand with Israel you should too, The world cannot sit on the fence when these horrific acts of terror are happening!”
In another post, the “Wonder Woman” actress shared a news report about hundreds of women, children, and elderly being taken hostage and wrote next to the post,
“My heart is aching. Praying for all of those in pain.”
Amy Schumer
The “Meteor Shower” actress, 42, attended a pro-Israel rally in New York City to show her support. In an Instagram story, she often posts news updates, videos, and messages about the attack.

In one of the stories, she wrote,
“As we all know, this is the deadliest event that has happened to the Jewish people since the holocaust, To my non-Jewish friends, call your Jewish friends. Chances are, they are the direct descendants of holocaust survivors. They are scared, they are hurting and they are terrified by your silence,”
Further, Schumer also joined an Instagram Live discussion with Noa Tishby, a commentator who combats antisemitism.
Kylie Jenner
The Kardashian sisters, 26, re-shared a post from the pro-Israel account @StandWithUs that reads, “Now and always we stand with the people of Israel!” over a photo of the Israeli flag.
Similarly, the post was captioned,
“SHARE if you stand with the people of Israel as they face one of the most frightening situations in many years.”
However, the post has since been deleted within a few hours after she received a barrage of free Palestine messages in the comments section of her Instagram.
Gigi Hadid
The American supermodel, whose father is Palestinian, posted a lengthy statement expressing her sorrow and sympathy for the victims of the violence. She wrote,
“I have deep empathy and heartbreak for the Palestinian struggle and life under occupation, it’s a responsibility I hold daily, My thoughts are with all those affected by this unjustifiable tragedy and every day that innocent lives are taken by this conflict — too many of which are children.”
Hadid, who has been a longtime advocate for “Free Palestine”, added,
“The terrorizing of innocent people is not in alignment with & does not do any good for the ‘Free Palestine movement’. The idea that it does has fueled a painful, decades-long cycle of back & forth retaliation (which no innocent civilian, Palestinian or Israeli, deserves to be a casualty of), and helps perpetuate the false idea Pro-Palestine = antisemitic,”
However, her sister Bella, who has always been vocal about her support for Palestinian rights, has yet to comment on the ongoing deadly conflict between Israel and Palestine.
