“R.I.P. Pac,” the “Girls Trip” star — who had a close friendship with the “All Eyez on Me”
The Red Table Talk Show host’s message came just hours after prosecutors announced that the 60-year-old man had been arrested and charged with the iconic rapper’s murder in Las Vegas.
Chief Deputy District Attorney Marc DiGiacomo called Davis the “on-ground, on-site commander” who ordered to kill Shakur.
The Common Street Legend author’s arrest came nearly two months after Vegas authorities raided a Henderson, Nev., home that belonged to his wife Pamela Clemons.
Davis had been claiming for years that he was an eyewitness to the Dear Mama rapper’s murder. The tragedy happened on the Las Vegas strip in September 1996 when Shakur was riding shotgun with Death Row Records co-founder Marion Suge Knight after a boxing match.

A reflection on Tupac Shakur and Jada Pinkett’s friendship
Pinkett, 52, first met her late friend at the Baltimore School for the Arts in Maryland in the mid-80s.
In an interview, the Girls Trip star remembered the first time she and the six-time Grammy nominee met.
The mom of two recalled,
“It was the first day and he came over to me and introduced himself,”
“And in high school, Pac was a little funny looking. Definitely from looking at him, wasn’t necessarily the type of cat that I would even like, deal with.
Jada added,
“But as soon as he approached me, he was like a magnet. Once you paid attention to him he kind of sucked you in. And we hit it off from that moment on … I don’t think either one of us thought we would have made it in the way that we did, but we knew we were gonna do something.”
Recently, she shared a sweet throwback video of herself and the rapper lip-syncing to “Parents Just Don’t Understand” by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince — who is Jada’s now-husband, Will Smith.
Will who married Jada in 1997 previously joked that he was jealous of his wife’s close friendship with Shakur.
