James Middleton and Alizee Thevenet-their Sicily yachting holiday

James Middleton, 34, and his fiancee Alizee Thevenet were to wed this year. The brother of the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate had proposed to his lady love last year. It was a one-year celebration of their engagement. They went on a romantic holiday to Sicily for it.

James posted on his Instagram about it. He resides in London mostly but was in Berkshire during the lockdown. This is where his parents live. The entrepreneur uploaded a series of photos of the Sicily holiday and captioned it:

‘It’s a year since I asked Alizée to marry me… what a year it’s been! Two homes, lockdown, two attempts at a wedding, a litter of puppies, launching of new company @ella.co, a beard shave, and much more.’

James added:

‘The best part is that I get to share it with you Alizée and I can’t wait to take on whatever the future holds for us.’

The engagement of James and Alizee

James had proposed to Alizee last year in the Lake District. Alizee is French and James had announced about this special moment on his Instagram. This announcement came in October 2019.

They started dating in 2018 and it has been over two years now. Their first public appearance together was at the Christmas holiday of the family in 2018. The Middleton family had gone to St. Bart’s that year for the holiday.

The couple had met in 2018. Alizee is 30. And James has a personalized greeting card company called Boomf. They began chatting at the South Kensington Club. This was after she said hello to James’ Cocker Spaniel Ella.

But at that time, she did not know who James was. Her father, Jean-Gabriel Thevenet had disclosed that she was bowled over by James’ British charm. And she is very much happy with the businessman now.

Alizee herself is an avid skier. She knows four languages. It was easier for her since she grew up in Chile, Indonesia, and Belgium. She came to the UK six years back and possesses a master’s degree in investment and finance from the Queen Mary University of London.
