Who is James Skalski?

James Skalski is an American Football Linebacker. James plays for the American Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). Moreover, he also played for Clemson during his college football.

James was born on 2nd February 1998 in Sharpsburg, Georgia. He is the youngest son of John Skalski and Sherri Skalski. Asides from that, he has an older sister, who also plays softball for Georgia State.

Besides that, Skalski holds American nationality and belongs to the Caucasian ethnicity. Moving toward his educational background, he enrolled at Northgate High School located in Newnan, Georgia. Later, he graduated from Clemson University.

James has played football as a linebacker and punter since high school. He only played in seven games as a junior, but in those seven games, he recorded 78 tackles, and three sacks, and was named All-County.

In his final season, as a senior, he made 170 tackles, including 33 stops, 11 sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, an interception, and two defensive touchdowns.

Additionally, he chose Clemson in February 2015 despite receiving offers from other universities, such as Louisville, Marshall, North Carolina, UCF, South Carolina, Ole Miss, and Wake Forest.

Skalski recorded 14 tackles in his first season as a freshman in 2016, eight of which came on special team plays. He placed second on the team in tackles as a redshirt junior in 2019 with 105, including 7.5 for loss, 4.5 sacks, four pass breakups, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

In 2020, James Skalski also plays the College Football Playoff National Championship against LSU, where he made six tackles, a sack, and a pass breakup. As of now, he signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent on 13th May 2022 meanwhile released on 31st August 2022.
