Jared Leto seems to have recovered his Oscar, which he misplaced.

The animated figure won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2014 for Primary Souvenirs from the Film Dallas Buyers Club.

However, as he said during a 2021 interview with James Corden, he had lost the coveted statuette during a move three years before that.

It even sounded like the star’s staff was trying to initially hide the fact that the award was unaccounted for! “I don’t think anybody wanted to tell me,” Leto told the talk show host when he was 52. “But I had moved houses in LA, and then when we moved, it somehow just magically kind of disappeared.”

He said, “It could be somewhere, but everyone’s searched for it high and low” . . .” I hope it’s in good hands wherever it is. We haven’t seen it in quite some time.”

When Corden asked if it might’ve been taken, Leto mused, “I think it’s a good possibility . . . It’s not something someone accidentally throws in the trash.”

But he optimistically said, “I hope someone is taking care of it. I remember the night I got it, I passed it around to so many people . . . It was beat up and scratched up, but people had fun taking pictures with it. It’s nice to share, so hopefully someone is taking good care of it.”

Fans react to Jared Leto’s Oscar find

Then, on Sunday, Leto posted some pictures under the caption, “Found my Oscar,” on Instagram, with him holding the Oscar.

Fans rushed to the comment section to give their opinions on the Oscar being found.

One wrote, ”It would be interesting if we knew how he found it.”

Another commented, ”Nice. Now take good care of it.”

When we sought additional information on the upheaval, his rep notified us that Leto was not available for comment.

He has already been on tour with his band and still has two more events to attend this year in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
