The title track of the album is an apology

Renowned American rapper Jay Z released his much-awaited new album titled ‘4:44’ on 29^th June 2017. This track has incorporated a number of Jay Z’s personal life experiences and mentions an apology for his cheating on his now-wife Beyonce. He seeks forgiveness for this whole issue and adds that having children changed him.

In the 5^th and title track ‘4:44’ of the album, Jay Z talks about his newborn twins and appears to say sorry to his wife Beyonce.

As an apology, he says:

“I apologize often womanize / Took for my child to be born / See through a woman’s eyes / Took for these natural twins to believe in miracles / Took me too long for this song / I don’t deserve you,”

On 12^th June 2017, the couple has two new arrivals into their family, their twin babies namely a boy and a girl. They join their little daughter Blue Ivy who is now 5 years old.

Beyonce’s father, Mathew Knowles had made the announcement on his Instagram about the twins, though there has been no word on them from the billionaire couple.

He goes on to say:

“‘You did what with who?’ / What good is a ménage à trois when you have a soulmate? / ‘You risked that for Blue?’”

Jay Z has also made a reference in the song about the couple’s struggle to have a baby in the past. Beyonce had miscarriages and that had led to emotional trauma for the couple.

Jay Z again gives an apology and says:

“So I apologize / I’ve seen the innocence / Leave your eyes / I still mourn this death / I apologize for all the stillborns / ‘Cus I wasn’t pressing / Your body wouldn’t accept it,”

The song also makes a mention of the many ups and downs in the couple’s 15-year relationship. He confesses via this song that he has been less than faithful.

Another apology-The track ‘Kill Jay Z’

In the track titled ‘Kill Jay Z’ in this new album, Jay Z confesses to cheating on his wife Beyonce and his lift fight incident with Beyonce’s sister Solange in 2014.

The apology is evident. During the same, Jay Z dropped names of Eric Benet and Future and singer Ciara. Eric Benet had cheated on his then-wife Halle Berry and had reportedly admitted to having bedded about 10 women while being still married to Halle Berry.

He did seek treatment for his sex addiction but the couple ultimately divorced in 2005. He then married Manuela Testolini in 2011.

Jay Z in his song has said:

Eric Benet quickly responded to the use of his name in the lyrics. He tweeted:
