The American film and TV actress Jaz Sinclair gained recognition and fame for her role in ‘Paper Towns’. Her first major lead role came in 2016 in the film ‘When the Bough breaks’.

Though she is so much a part of Tinsel town now, Jaz Sinclair is in real life a very sensitive person. Describing herself, Jaz Sinclair states that she is a ‘wanderlusty, old-soul’.

Jaz Sinclair in an interview had once said:

“I’m a sensitive creature. And sometimes being around a ton of people, buildings, and lights and technology is overwhelming for me, so I need to recharge and do what feels natural.”

Her love for nature dates back to her childhood. Remembering her early days, Jaz Sinclair said:

“When I was a kid, we would always go camping. My grandpa, no matter how much or little money we had, always made time and space for us to go camping. So my happiest memories were outside and on hikes.”

Jaz Sinclair finds Nature refreshing and likes to discover new, strange, and exotic places. She does regular exercises which she feels help her stay grounded and fit.

Jaz Sinclair is an optimistic and confident person and believes that the trick to seduction is to believe that you are going to be successful. She is also an avid book reader and loves to spend her free time in libraries and bookstores.

Jaz’s life before ‘Paper Towns’

Jaz Sinclair is an alumnus of Dallas University. She had entered the world of acting at a young age. Jaz Sinclair hails from a relatively poor family.

Her prime needs at that time revolved around making her ends meet. She came to New York City when she was just 18 years of age with a small dream of making it big in Hollywood.

Talking about her life before ‘Paper Towns’, Jaz Sinclair said:

“My life before Paper Towns was pretty much being super broke, working, paying my bills paycheck to paycheck. Trying to figure myself out, trying to figure out to be an adult”.

Jaz Sinclair is a mix of talent and beauty who values money and is without any airs. She is alleged to be dating actor Justice Smith though both have never opened up about this relationship to the media.

Jaz Sinclair’s great talent and rise to stardom

Jaz Sinclair took to acting at the age of 15 years. Her first acting breakthrough came with ‘Into Dust’ movie in 2009 where she played a snotty girl. In 2011 she played the role of Sharla in ‘A Race against Time: The Sharla Butler Story’.

She had a minor role as an NYC pedestrian in the 2013 movie ‘Ordained’. She also started doing television series in 2013. These roles were brief and did not garner much attention.

It was with her character of Angela in the 2015 film ‘Paper Towns’ that she was noticed. This was followed by a major role in ‘When the bough breaks’ (2016). She played the role of a surrogate mother in this thriller movie.

Though the movie had some negative reviews, Jaz Sinclair’s character and acting were appreciated. Praising her co-actors in this film, Jaz Sinclair said:

“Regina and Morris are great. They were super fun to be around and Regina’s hilarious. It’s really cool because she’s mostly known for her comedy work, and this is a dramatic role, and she totally killed it. They just totally welcomed me in and made me feel safe.”

Jaz Sinclair feels that one should not label films as Black or White movies. Putting forth her views, Jaz Sinclair opines:

“I think it’s time to stop looking at people as White people or Black people and start looking at people like people”.

Jaz Sinclair has been seen in the role of Beatrice Bennett on the American TV drama series ‘The Vampire Diaries’. Her fans are eagerly waiting to see more of her in 2017.
