Cant’ wait to marry! Wedding mini-mony details of Jeannie Mai and Jeezy
Jeannie Mai and Jeezy are off the market! The couple who have been dating for a long time walked down the aisle in an intimate ceremony at their home in Atlanta on 27th March 2021.
It was an open garden ceremony at their home against a backdrop of magnolia, birch, and maple trees.
Initially, they had plans to marry overseas but the Covid-19 pandemic spoiled their plan. They wanted to marry at Lake Como or in the South of France. Jeannie and Jeezy were all they ever wanted so the two got married anyway.
Their nuptials were held in front of their immediate family and close friends. Their wedding ceremony was a safe event as everyone required negative Covid-19 test results to travel two days before the wedding. Jeannie revealed that Suzanne Reinhard planned their wedding,
“Once everyone was tested and confirmed negative, our guests were shuttled to the surprise location—our home. She followed through with our details exactly as requested and minimized any stress. She made it so enjoyable!”
Dress of bride and groom
Jeannie had an eye on the Galia Lahav dress so she collaborated with her stylist Lisa Cera and the Galia Lahav atelier to design the custom. She matched the nude appliques and hand-placed them on the dress for a unique design. She added,
“For hair and makeup, I wanted a sleek and graceful finish, along with a bit of drama so Lisa and I worked on a handmade headpiece with a 15-foot Galia Lahav veil. My hairstylist, Kristen, impressively sewed this into my hair.”
Mai kept the jewelry minimal as she rocked her friend Rosalina Lydster’s diamond and morganite drop earrings. As for Jeezy’s dress, he wore his favorite tailor Teofilo Flor and stylist Chris Shelby’s champagne blush custom design suit. They asked the guest to don an off-white color dress to represent the peace of their union.

Wedding
There was a seat reserved for the late mother of Jeezy, Sharon Denise Jenkins. Pastor John Maxwell was standing at the alter when Jeezy walked in the song I Can’t Stop Loving You. Jeannie followed her on the song How Deep Is Your Love by the Bee Gees.
Jeannie and her brother performed a Vietnamese tea ceremony where she honored her parents by pouring tea as a gesture to welcome Jeezy into my family. They paid respect to the elders and ancestors by bowing down four times.
Just after the tea ceremony, they exchanged vows of commitment and exchanged their first kiss as a married couple. The ‘just married’ couple did their first dance to the song Sweet Lady. For the after-party, the couple gifted the guests custom monogrammed pajamas and slippers. Mai revealed,
“Jeezy and I changed into our own special matching Versace silk pajamas. And then we danced the night away to our favorite hits, feeling cozier than ever.”
