Jesse James and his fifth wife, Bonnie Rotten, are divorcing!

Jesse James files for divorce from Bonnie Rotten
Jesse James has filed for divorce from his fifth wife, Bonnie Rotten, following a tumultuous two-year marriage.
The couple, who married in June 2022 and shared a son, Bishop, have been embroiled in several legal disputes.
On November 22, 2024, James, 55, filed for a restraining order against Rotten, requesting that she remain at least 100 feet away from him and their child until a custody hearing can take place.
Both parties have accused each other of physical violence.
In court documents, James accused Rotten of multiple attacks, including an incident before their marriage in early 2022 when she allegedly tried to break his finger and punctured his neck with her fingernail while pregnant.
The West Coast Choppers founder also accused her of abusing their pets and claimed that their son was mimicking this behavior.
On the other hand, Bonnie has alleged that James physically assaulted her as well, including an incident where he reportedly slapped her and punched her in the throat.
She stated that his claims are attempts to paint her as the villain in their relationship.
Following filing the divorce petition, Bonnie moved out of their home with their son to ensure their safety.
This is not the first time the estranged couple has tried to end their marriage. In late 2022, Bonnie filed for divorce twice following accusations against James of infidelity during her pregnancy.
Although they briefly reconciled after those allegations, they have since separated again.
Bonnie has requested privacy as they deal with their legal issues and has expressed confidence in the legal system to resolve their matters fairly. She told TMZ,
“For the safety and well-being of our child, I will not engage in litigating this matter in the press. I trust the legal process to address these issues appropriately and respectfully ask for privacy during this time.”
They were married in a small Texas backyard ceremony in June 20222. It was Rotten’s second marriage and James’ fifth.
At their wedding, Bonnie’s eight-year-old daughter from a previous marriage was present to celebrate the occasion.
Jesse James’s history of infidelity
Jesse James has a well-documented history of infidelity, which has caused significant problems in his relationships.
His marriage to Sandra Bullock ended in 2010 after several women claimed they had affairs with him, including tattooed model Michelle “Bombshell” McGee.
In interviews following the scandal, James admitted to cheating and expressed a lack of regret about his actions, stating that infidelity is “part of life.”
He acknowledged his responsibility for the fallout from his actions, saying,
“There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me”
Despite entering rehab for sex addiction in an attempt to save their marriage, Bullock filed for divorce just months after the scandal broke.
The former couple were married for almost five years.
James’s pattern of infidelity continued in his next marriages. After marrying drag racer Alexis DeJoria in 2013, he faced allegations of cheating again.
Most recently, his current wife, Bonnie Rotten, accused him of infidelity while she was pregnant.
