She began her career in 2003 in metal as a member of ‘Vexy Strut.’ Later, she formed the band ‘Huntress’ and recruited members of the metal band ‘Professor.’ Jill was the lead singer during the band’s three albums.

Apart from Janus’ career with ‘Huntress’, she filled in for Amon Amarth’s lead singer Johan Hegg in the 2015 co-tour.

Furthermore, Jill was the co-writer of ‘Victory: The Rock Opera’ with guitarist Angus Clar. She named Ann Wilson as an influence and has cited Freddie Mercury as one of her vocal inspirations.

She was diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder and was experiencing dissociative identity disorder and schizophrenia. Jill committed suicide near Portland, Oregon on August 14, 2018.
