Joe Burrow and Olivia Ponton have recently sparked romance rumors after a burglary incident at Burrow’s home in Anderson Township, Ohio.
The speculation even more fueled when it was disclosed that Ponton was the one who called the police to report the break-in on Monday, December 9.
Although, the police report identified Ponton as an “employee” of Burrow, sparking further discussions about their relationship status.
Whereas, Burrow was in Dallas for a game against the Cowboys when his home in Ohio was burglarized.
A source reported that Burrow and Ponton had been “hooking up” casually since early fall 2024, before the burglary incident. The insider stated,
“They have been hooking up since the early fall and are keeping it casual.”
Despite this, neither Burrow nor Ponton has officially confirmed their romantic relationship. Their relationship remained casual until the recent speculation arose following the burglary.
Before, Burrow had been in a long-term relationship with Olivia Holzmacher since 2015. As of now, there are rumors that Burrow and Holzmacher have broken up.
Olivia Ponton reveals shocking incident at Joe Burrow’s home
On the night of the burglary, Olivia arrived at Joe’s home around 8:14 p.m. and discovered that it had been broken into.
According to a police report, she found a “shattered bedroom window” and the room in disarray.
After noticing the damage, the TikTok star immediately called her mother, who then contacted the authorities.
When deputies arrived, they conducted a thorough search of the property, and the Criminal Intelligence Section (CIS) documented the scene with photographs and collected evidence.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the break-in but did not provide details about what was stolen.
In audio recordings obtained by TMZ, Ponton’s mother was heard telling a dispatcher that her daughter was unsure whether to hide or go outside.
Ponton later stated during a separate call,
“Someone broke into my house… It’s like completely messed up.”
Burrow expressed his frustration regarding the invasion of privacy during a press conference on December 11.
“So obviously everybody has heard what has happened. I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one and way more is already out there than I would want out there and that I care to share so that’s all I got to say about that,”

Earlier this week, Olivia shared her thoughts on long-distance relationships during an episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.

Ponton shared,
“I’ve had numerous long-distance relationships and it’s hard; I feel like with myself, every relationship that I get into is long-distance, even my friendships.”
Ponton explained that scheduling regular FaceTime calls with a partner can be beneficial in long-distance relationships, although she noted that such situations are not entirely ideal.
She concluded by stating,
“I don’t recommend it but it’s also kind of inevitable in certain situations.”
