Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas speak out after mediation
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner might be leaving their messy custody battle behind them as they focus on amicably raising their two young daughters.
The now-exes released a joint statement about their co-parenting dynamic just hours after reaching a temporary custody agreement for Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1.
They said,
“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK,”
“We look forward to being great co-parents.”
Earlier the day, Page Six confirmed that the Jonas Brother singer, 34, and the British actress, 27, believed an “amicable resolution on all issues between them” was possible after attending mediation the past week.
According to the court documents, Sophie would be able to take her girls back to the UK from Oct. 9 to Oct. 21.
The Game of Thrones actress looked happy while she was spotted out and about with her babies in NYC on Monday, her first of 12 days with the two.
Once her time is up, she will have to take the kids back to their father who will keep them until November 2.
The custody swap will continue through Jan. 7, 2024, which means that the DNCE singer will have the kids for Thanksgiving and the girls will spend Christmas with their mommy.

Jonas and Turner called it quits after 4 years of marriage
Joe filed for divorce from Turner last month after four years of marriage. He said that their marriage was ”irretrievably broken.”
Despite keeping quiet for weeks, Turner later sued her ex-husband for the immediate return of the girls to England.
The Joan actress claimed that the two previously decided to raise their girls in her home country before their split.
She also said that her ex-husband refused to give their passports so she could not take them to England.
A source later claimed that Joe did not abduct his kids and he was “OK with the kids being raised both in the US and the UK.”
Internet users commented on the exes’ successful mediation with one writing,
”Although I have not much interest invested in these two, I am glad they were able to reach an agreement and that their children will benefit.”
Another commented,
”It’s all about the kids. Their happiness matters.”
A third quipped,
”Children need both their father and mother.”
