Joe Joseph-car suffers an accident
The patriarch of the Jackson family of entertainers Joe (short for Joseph) Jackson has been hospitalized!
Joe Jackson, father of late Michael Jackson was traveling as a passenger in a Jaguar when it crashed into an SUV in Sin City.
Joe Jackson did not have any physical hurt during the accident, but started complaining of chest pain and hence was transported to a University Medical Center in an ambulance.
He also would need to check for any likely internal injuries. He was kept under observation. The Las Vegas released a statement to RadarOnline which read:
“Mr. Jackson was a passenger in a vehicle that was traveling westbound on West Sahara Avenue east of Decatur Boulevard. Another vehicle travelling eastbound on West Sahara attempted to make a left hand turn to enter a private drive way at 4590 West Sahara Avenue. The vehicle failed to yield the right of way and collided with the vehicle Mr. Jackson was in. He was transported to University Medical Center for observation due to a complaint of injury. The at-fault driver was cited for failure to yield right of way. There were no signs of impairment on the drivers involved. The time of the accident was 11:13 a.m.”

The Jackson team tweeted on the early morning of 1st July 2017:

Both parties did not suffer any impairment in the accident. The driver of the SUV was provided the paper for ‘failure to yield right of way’.
It has been known last that Joe Joseph has been released from the hospital, is feeling well, and has reached his home safely. He posted a photo of himself and his friend Charles Coupet and captioned it:
“Happy to report I am back home and my friend Charles Coupet is doing fine too,”

The ultimate Entertainment Manager
Joe Joseph was from Arkansas and was the eldest of five siblings. He had wanted to become a professional boxer but his family commitments prevented him from pursuing his dream.
His parents divorced when Joe was just 12 years old. He moved to stay with his father in Oakland, California but after his father’s remarriage shifted to East Chicago to be with his mother and siblings. Joe married Katherine Scruse in 1949. Furthermore, he went on to have 10 children with her.
He played guitar in his band The Falcons. But this broke up. His sons too were interested in music and he started working with their musical group. The musical group of Jacksons gained fame.
They moved to California and Joe Jackson supervised every music and recording session for his band. The family even performed at casinos and resorts in the early 1970s.
He was responsible majorly for establishing their careers. There have been claims by some of his children that Joe Jackson was quite a tyrant when it came to making them learn music.
The children, however, did not deny the fact that it was his strict behavior that led them to gain a name for themselves in the music industry.
Michael respected his father and honored him with an annual ‘Joseph Jackson Day’. In 2002, Joe Jackson has been granted a proclamation in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as the Best Entertainment Manager of All Time by the then Mayor of Cleveland, Ohio. He was also inducted into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame in 2011.
Joe Joseph- extramarital affairs
Though married to Katherine Scruse, Joe Joseph was implicated in several extra-marital romantic affairs. Katherine had wanted to file for divorce twice, but both times got persuaded to not do so.
Joe Jackson’s affair with a woman called Cheryl Terrell gave rise to a daughter Joh’Vonnie Jackson who was born in 1974. At present, Katherine remains legally married to Joe though both are staying separately.
On 25th July 2015, Joe suffered a stroke and cardiac arrhythmia. It had some vision blurring for some time. And now this recent accident and heart scare! We wish Joe Jackson a long and healthy ‘entertaining’ life!
