After moving to Los Angeles he began his career as a session guitarist at the age of 17. His primary band in Los Angeles was Alligator Soup.
He has also started working on numerous projects with Marlette including television show soundtracks, movie soundtracks including speed 2: Cruise Control, and commercial and infomercials.
His first truly ‘big break’ came when he was selected to play lead guitar on the critically well-received by former Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth.
Lowery has also formed the band Loser in 2005. He recorded eight instrumental records with Vertigo at the starting of 2004.
