Johnny Depp’s first wife is not a fan of Amber Heard
Johnny Depp‘s first wife Lori Allison had nothing good to say about Amber Heard. A year after the infamous defamation case, Allison finally gives her take on the actress.
Allison and the Pirates of the Caribbean star tied the knot in 1983 when she was 25 and he was only 20. Unfortunately, the couple divorced just two years later citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Lori who mostly stays out of the public eye recently appeared on the Popcorned Planet podcast. There the host asked her to give her opinion on the infamous actress.
Allison referred to Heard as “she who shall not be named” throughout her interview. She remembered liking the young actress during her initial romance days with Depp.
Lori recalled,
“I had met her before, I’d been to parties at his house,”
“She seemed really nice and she was gorgeous, and what’s not to love?”
The 65-year-old added,
“But as the time went by and I would hear things about her – she who shall not be named – he didn’t seem too happy all the time. I didn’t see him a lot so I can’t really say.”
“The things that affected me more were the things he said in court. I probably broke down several times because I felt really bad for him,”
Allison also went on to call her ex-spouse a very private person and he did right by coming out so wholeheartedly in the defamation case.
The former makeup artist added,
“I thought it was either going to be an epic train wreck or it was going to go really well,”

Allison would cry for Depp during his court hearings
Lori also revealed that she would stay in touch with Depp’s friends from time to time to know about the court cases.
She also added that many times she would even “walk around crying because I was terrified for him.”
She said of Amber,
“I think it would’ve killed him, well maybe not, but it just broke my heart that somebody could do that to him,”
“I’m no angel, I’ve done my share of s–tty things to people, but what she did was absolutely horrific, and if there were things that I could do to her that were legal, I would do them! I would.”
After the case was done, Johnny was awarded more than $10 million in damages after a jury spoke in his favor saying that Miss Heard tried to ruin his reputation by alleging domestic abuse on him.
Furthermore, the court also ordered Heard to pay her ex-husband more than $ 10 million as compensation plus $350,000 in punitive damages for defaming the actor in the 2018 op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post.
After that, the actress sold her California residence to pay the debt.
