Joshua Mitchell’s wife reveal the Heartbreaking Letter to Santa
Douglasville, Georgia, Police are asking for witnesses and trying to trace the shooter after the tragedy of the Mitchell family. As headlines, broke, seven-year-old daughter, Sa’Raya, wrote a letter to Father Christmas asking for her dad back, as the mother Nicole said,
“The fact that it happened before Christmas will always be a conversation of ‘when we lost daddy’. She said ‘I’m good in school, I make good grades, can I please have my daddy back?'”
The mourning wife of the ex-marine then continued,
“I’m glad that that morning before he left off to work – we got to say those words to each other. So that will forever be in my brain – his kiss and I love you.”
While the mother Nicole paid tribute to her husband who died of several gunshots after Dec 17 attack, addressing him as,
“honourable marine and an entrepreneur, as well as a devoted husband and stepfather.”

Sa’Raya, with the only hope that Santa will bring back her daddy after his death, wrote a letter to Santa asking.
“Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is I want my dad back. I love my dad. Someone hurt my dad. I want God to bring him back. I’m getting good grades and I [am] good at school.”
The sweet note of the 7-year-old ended citing that she would not be able to celebrate her birthday as both of them have the same birthday.

Murder Investigations of Joshua Mitchell
A press release by Paulding County Sheriff’s Office earlier announced the murder of Joshua Mitchell, in a statement reading,
“On Saturday December 17, 2022, at approximately 9.40pm, several residents of Warrenton Drive called Paulding E-911 to report hearing gunshots in the neighbourhood. When Deputies arrived in the area, they located Mitchell laying in the driveway beyond help.”
The Sherriff also confirmed the brutal attack and how he was taken to the GBI Crime Lab where he is taken for autopsy, he revealed how there is no any prime suspect and stated that the murder motive is not clear yet. Hew continued about the investigations of Paulding Detectives adding,
“Detectives and Agents are diligently working to try and determine what occurred during this incident, however thus far there are no suspects and no motive has been determined.”
