‘Happy Married Life’! Joss Stone took a milestone step with her long-time partner Cody DaLuZ. The singer, 35, revealed she got married to Cody last week in a private ceremony.

She made the wedding announcement during her appearance at the opening of Joss’ new musical The Time Traveller’s Wife at the Apollo Theatre in London on Wednesday, November 1.

This is the very first time the duo walked the red carpet as a married couple.

Stone looked stunning in a floral maxi dress at the event, with an enormous diamond ring on her wedding finger that emphasized her look.

Further, she gave more details about her wedding during an interview with 5 News. She revealed during one of the musical performances, she caught the bouquet which inspired her to get married.

The new bride explained to director Bill Buckhurst, recalling,

“[The bouquet] came to me and I almost reached out for them to catch the flowers – this is when she gets married and they do the whole thing and that’s the end of the first act – and they sort of fell down here and there was an empty seat – the only empty seat in the whole place. And no one went to pick them up and I was like, well they were for me! So I picked them up and everyone was like, yay!!! Anyway, I went home to Nashville and we got married last Thursday.”

She concludes while remarking,

“And I thought it was a good omen!’

Joss gave an update on her family life in early October revealing they had started the process of adopting a child. She told Hello! Magazine,

“We’re trying to do our home study. I hope we get to do it. I want, like, 25 kids, “

The newlywed couple is already a parent to two children Violet, 2, and Shackleton, 12 months. She also acknowledged their children have no issue adding a younger member to the family.

“Violet doesn’t really care for too much else other than making art, She is obsessed with her ukulele – she runs around the house pretending to play it and sing – and she loves paints and colours.”

She continued,

“I saw them making each other laugh for the first time the other day. It was great,”
