Juan Agudelo started his career involving in the New York Red Bull Academy as a member of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.

He rapidly developed his skills and showed his talent in the academy.

Juan Agudelo got an offer from the Colombian franchise Millonarios in 2010.

Juan also played for the side in the youth team as a tribute to the football Ace Pele.

But he joined New York Red Bulls on March 26, 2010, and scored his debut goal against  Seattle Sounders FC March 19, 2011.

On May 17, 2012, Juan released by New York Red Bulls and joined Chivas USA.

Moreover, he has also trained with Scottish club Celtic and English side West Ham United.

He couldn’t perform well in his new team and transferred to the New England Revolution on May 7, 2013.

Juan scored his debut goal for the New England Revolution against Toronto FC.

Later, Juan Agudelo went through a knee injury which kept him far from soccer.

He made his comeback in August netting a brilliant backheel against Chicago Fire. 

English club Stoke City kept their eye to sign him and finally on August 9, 2013, he signed for the club.

Juan couldn’t impress in the club and he was loaned out to the club to FC Utrecht, Netherlands. After becoming a free agent he was again signed by his former club New England Revolution on January 29, 2015.

Juan Agudelo played for the team till 2019 and after this player joined an American club Inter Miami.

Juan appeared for his country at the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup and made his debut for the United States Under-20 side.

He also netted a goal against Brazil at the Under-20, 2o10 World Cup.

Juan scored a beautiful volley against South Africa in his debut for the national side.
