Their first child, daughter Jade arrived in May 1985. The couple wed in June 1985. Later, in October 1987, they had a second child, daughter Camara. Subsequently, their son Greg Jr was born in January 1989 and their fourth child, son Amir arrived in July 1990.

Speculations of the cause of divorce

Though Linda had put the reason for divorce as irreconcilable differences, viewers and fans were not convinced. They speculated that one of them was unfaithful.

The onus came on Greg. Fans and viewers believed that Greg has cheated on Linda with another woman. However, there were no proofs for these allegations.

As rumors spread, another angle was added to it. Some also claimed that Greg had an illegitimate child with a mistress.

But, yes, Greg did accept the responsibility for the split. He confessed that he had not given time for his wife. He stated:

Maybe I’ll be the example for another man — a cautionary tale. Don’t neglect your wife. That’s what happens, guys.”

Narrating the reason for her suspicion, he said:

“Neglect can create suspicion, certainly,”

“If you’re gone as much as I am, she has every right to suspect. You go to work, and you go to serve the community around the country.”

“Then, you go with your guys to sporting events around the country and you go to other events without your wife. She would have a right to suspect infidelity.”

“That’s not the reason for this,”

Though he continues his tours and trips, Greg was determined to spend more time at home and prioritize his wife over work.

He concluded:

“I’m getting my wife back.”

So hopefully, the two are in a better space of their life and have patched up. Whether the divorce case has been withdrawn is not certain.
