American actress, Kathy Ireland, 61 is a woman who could do anything to get her love. Kathy fell in love with her current husband, Dr. Greg Olsen at first sight. With the help of her mother and after two months of stalking him, Kathy ultimately managed to get his special attention.

The former model, Kathy was at the red carpet of MovieGuide Awards when she revealed how she managed to draw the attention of and landed the first date with her husband. Kathy elaborated to a Fox reporter:

“I was having lunch with my mom who was a nurse, saw this cute guy walk by, and it turns out he was a doctor in his residency,”

Further, she continued:

“So, I go back to the hospital, mom would find out his beeper code, and we’d wait around [and] just go to the different floors where we thought we might find him.”
“[I] felt like a big loser, because it just wasn’t happening, but you gotta be patient. Two months, and it worked.”

She had also confessed about this in her Instagram post in December 2024.

The relationship of the couple

Ultimately, the efforts of Kathy paid off and the couple started a romantic relationship. Greg also fell in love with Kathy. Later, in 1988, the two exchanged wedding vows. They have three children together: Erik, Lilly, and Chloe.

The couple are still very much in love with each other and their bond has grown stronger over the years. They celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary in August 2024. Kathy uploaded a photo of them two on her Instagram and put the caption:

Greg is an emergency physician. Kathy has faith in God and gives Him the credit for protecting and preserving her marital relationship and family.
