Kim Kardashian is a real and reel life lawyer
Kim Kardashian might look good as a reel life lawyer too.
The reality star, 43, is set to play L.A’s ‘‘most successful divorce lawyer and the owner of an all-female law firm” in a legal drama, per Deadline.
Brothers & Sisters creator and playwright Jon Robin Baitz is writing the show. The show’s executive producer will be Ryan Murphy and will stream on Hulu, the current home of their hit reality show, The Kardashians.
Other executive producers for the show are Kim herself and her mother, Kris Jenner.
Kim’s legal role will be based on famous divorce lawyer Laura Wasser. She has represented many A-listers like Ryan Reynolds, Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears, and Kevin Costner.
Wasser was also Kim’s lawyer when Kardashian filed for divorce from Kanye West.
The series is reportedly set to start filming in late 2024 and might release in early 2025.
Playing a lawyer onscreen might not be that tough for the beauty mogul who passed her baby bar exam in 2021 after three failed attempts.
Earlier this year, the mom of four revealed that she would give up her reality TV career if she needed time to be a full-time lawyer.
During her appearance at the 2023 Time 100 Summit in April, Kardashian said,
“I would be just as happy being an attorney full-time,”
“There’s a lot that’s always on TV and a lot that’s always out there, but I think my friends and my family know that we really cherish a lot of our private times.”

The multi-millionaire has been trying her best to work on prison reform and even met former President Donald Trump to discuss the matter.
This show will be Kim’s second time working with Murphy, 58, as she has already played Siobhan in Season 12 of American Horror Story.
Her role received mixed reviews from the critics who even accused her of taking roles away from the actors.
Kim is also set to produce and star in an upcoming female-based comedy called The 5th Wheel. The show’s writers will be Paula Pell and Janine Brito.
Kardashian’s previous acting resume includes minor roles in Disaster Movie, Beyond the Break, CSI: NY, and Temptations: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, among other projects over the years.
Internet users expressed their views on how they feel about Kim’s new role with one writing,
”So … celebrity who became a lawyer set to star as lawyer who became a celebrity. I mean, the jokes write themselves.”
Another commented,
”I thought she wanted to BE a lawyer not PLAY a lawyer?”
One joked,
”The only person that would hire her is her own mother.”
