Kim Kardashian’s Skims reaches new heights
Kim Kardashian‘s Skims is producing both life-saving outfits and a lot of profit.
The reality star’s shapewear brand has reached $4 billion in its latest valuation after the company’s raise of $270 million in a new round of funding, according to the New York Times report.
The impressive figure is close to $1 billion more than the $3.2 billion valuation the investors gave the brand last year.
The Kardashians star who launched her company in 2019 saw the brand gaining $2 million in sales in just a few minutes after its site went live.
Kim originally focused on shapewear but she later expanded her line to more items like sexy swimsuits and comfy loungewear. Since then, Skims’ popularity seems to be just growing.
Every drop sells quickly within no time, with her followers buying up bras, panties, pajamas, socks, and other items in Kim’s signature neutrals and some new pops of color.
The New York Times reported that the company has estimated it will reach $750 million in sales in 2023 after a remarkable $500 million profit last year.
Kim’s fans reacted to the good news on social media, saying,
”absolutely love skims panties & bras. The bra is like wearing a sports bra but gives u shape & the panties don’t ride up ur butt at every turn & there’s no panty lines in my leggings.”
Another gushed,
”Have any of y’all tried the bodysuit yet? I want to but my hot flashes keep me warm & I wanna know how comfy it is …”
Another buyer commented,
”Say what you want about the woman but the clothes are comfy and flattering as hell. I have 3 dresses and they look and feel great.”
