Kody Brown and Meri Brown‘s relationship is not going well!

A couple of nearly three decades divorced in 2014 and are not spending time together. Kody is the husband of four wives and is dividing his time into four separate houses. They have not been able to see each other that frequently.

Meri said,

“They say that a person needs four hugs a day just to survive. People probably are not getting four hugs a day right now. I love hugs and touch, from the appropriate person, you know what I mean? And when you don’t have that, it feels really, really lonely.”

Meri revealed that she is very careful about pushing Kody and doesn’t want him to feel demanding. She even said that he does not visit her often.

1990– Kody Brown and Meri Brown walked down the aisle in April 1990 just six months after the proposal. Kody said,

“Meri was so cute and sweet when I met her that I had a hard time suppressing my hopelessly romantic nature,”

1995– The couple welcomed their first child Mariah in July 1995. They had a constant struggle with conceiving for years. When they tried for a second child, she suffered a miscarriage 10 weeks into her pregnancy. Meri thought that it would be easier for her to conceive after she gave birth to Mariah, but it was quite the opposite.

2010– In September 2010, the Brown family’s life changed after TLC premiered the reality series.
2014: Meri and Kody divorced each other in September 2014. She allowed him to legally marry Robyn to adopt three children from her previous relationship.

2017: In January 2017 during an episode of Sister Wives, Kody and Meri struggled to talk about the sexual orientation of their daughter. Their daughter Mariah came out as gay.
2019: During the holiday season, Meri reflected on her miscarriages and sent support to other women who have been through the same. She wrote on her Instagram story,

“I woke up this morning thinking about how it would be to have my 12-year-old boy with me at Christmas this year. Never thought I’d get the news today that a sweet little mom I know and love would be saying goodbye to her own sweet baby today too. #MiscarriageSucks.”

2020: In an episode of Sister Wives, they decided to take time to increase the heat of their relationship.
