Personal trainer Kris Smith suddenly proposed to his long-term model girlfriend, Sarah Boulazeris at their daughter’s first birthday party.

She was taken aback but accepted his wedding proposal. The two are happy and Kris shared the news on his Instagram with his fans.

Kris Smith-the engagement

The British-born personal trainer, Kris Smith shared two photos of the time he went down on one knee and proposed to his long-term partner, model Sarah Boulazeris, 29.

The occasion was the first birthday party of their daughter, Frankie. He thought that this was the best occasion to propose to his lady love and make her his fiancee. Kris, 41 shared the happy news with his fans on Saturday 12 December 2020.

The party was taking place in the backyard of their house. He put up two charming photos of the engagement. He captioned them:

‘2020 wasn’t all bad… she said yes’

Sarah was stunned and in tears. She said yes but the photos show her bewilderment at the sudden proposal from her beau. Sarah was in a white off-the-shoulder crop top and white trousers with white slippers. While Kris was also in light-colored casual wear. She kissed Kris and also showed off her diamond ring.

Frankie’s birthday party

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the couple was at home celebrating their daughter Frankie’s first birthday. It was a white-themed party. The couple has two children and both are daughters.

Besides Frankie, they have Mila Elle who turned two in early December. The two kids looked cute in their kidswear and Mila even showed her teeth to the camera.

Frankie had put cardboard wings on her back. Though her hair was scarce, Sarah had put a headband on her that had two cute little antennae popping out of it.

In the background of the pictures, one can see white draped curtains and white balloons. There was one transparent balloon as well. The whole setup was just marvelous and simply elegant.

The couple’s relationship

The two, Kris and Sarah, have been dating for the past three years. Earlier this year, Kris wanted his girlfriend to propose to him rather than the other way around. He said that he would not marry her until she proposed to him. During an Instagram Q+A session, he told his fans:

‘I get asked this a lot… When will I marry Sarah? When she gets off her ass and proposes! It’s 2020 now, she needs to propose, put a ring on it’

He also confessed that he wants more kids with Sarah besides the two daughters. He stated:

‘Look I’d probably have about ten but Sarah’s told me that’s it no more,’

Though the coronavirus pandemic affected Kris financially, he said that he is still happy since he got some quality time to spend with his children and family. He said:

‘I’ve not travelled half as much, so I’ve got to see the girls really progress. Frankie started to crawl, I saw that for the first time. We’re teaching Milla lots of new tricks…’

‘This is time that I would never ever get back, so I don’t want to be disrespectful to people that have lost absolutely everything, but for me, it’s been quite a beautiful time.’
