Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott love their son’s name Aire and are filing to change it in a legal way.
The on-again, off-again couple recently filed documents to legally change their baby boy’s name from Wolfe Jacques Webster to Aire Webster.
TMZ also noted that the famous parents revealed they “regret the initial name choice” and now that they “have had the chance to spend time with their baby, they believe the name Aire Webster is a better fit.”
The reality star and the rapper signed off on the petition and are currently waiting for the court to finalize their son’s name.
The KUWTK star and the 31-year-old rapper announced in March 2022 that they were changing their son’s moniker a month after his birth.
Jenner wrote on Instagram at the time,
“FYI OUR SONS NAME ISN’T WOLF ANYMORE,”
“WE JUST REALLY DIDN’T FEEL LIKE IT WAS HIM.”
In January 2023 the couple finally revealed their baby boy’s name alongside the first photo of him.
One of the snaps showed the Kylie Cosmetics owner and her son Aire posing for a cute mirror selfie while in another the toddler looked cute in a beanie and race car pajamas.
Fans dissed Kylie for naming her son Aire
Kylie also cleared the confusion regarding the e at the end of Aire’s name saying it was pronounced the same way as the element.
The name reportedly meant Lion of God in Hebrew but fans slammed the couple for not doing much research beforehand saying that Aire is slang for penis in Arabic.
One fan commented,
“God help her if she comes to the Middle East,”
Another fan added,
“all my Lebanese people [are] wheezing right now.”
There were also fans who defended Aire’s name saying that the beauty mogul must have taken some inspiration from the popular series “Avatar: The Last Airbender.”
In the short video, the TikTok user also used audio from the opening scene of the animated series which shows the four elements: Water, Earth, Fire, and Air to show how the couple chose their second child’s name.
The subtle diss didn’t offend the social media star who left two laughing emojis underneath the post.
The reality star and the Sicko Mode rapper also share a daughter Stormi, 5 after they initially started dating in 2017.
