Lily Allen and David Harbour have reportedly ended their marriage after four years, amidst ongoing speculation about their relationship challenges.

The couple, who married in 2020, has faced rumours of marital struggles, particularly after Lily announced a break from her podcast to focus on her mental health.

An insider revealed to People that the details surrounding her situation are not fully disclosed, but reports indicate that “her marriage has been crumbling and they have split.”

Another source reported that “she’s devastated and not in a good place,” adding that the separation has been “very hard for her and her girls,” and that “it’s been a bad start to the new year.”

Furthermore, neither Lily nor David have confirmed their separation.

Lily first sparked rumours of her separation from David Harbour, 49, after she was seen on the celebrity dating app Raya.

According to the Daily Mail, a photo of her alleged profile featured a bio humorously stating, “Looking for someone to start couples therapy with.”

The profile also revealed her interests in “singing, acting, [and] writing” and noted that she was “visiting Los Angeles from New York.”

A friend told the outlet that the Grammy nominee was not interested in dating at that time because she “takes marriage very seriously” and had not yet officially divorced.

Lily Allen discusses life struggles and family bonds

Last month, singer Lily Allen discussed her personal struggles on the “Miss Me?” podcast, where she revealed that she was not in a “good place” in her life.

During the episode, she shared that she has been spending significant time with her daughters, stating,

“It’s really tough—they are always there and you have to be present for them,”

The 39-year-old “Smile” singer expressed that while having children around can bring joy when life is going well, it becomes challenging during tough times, saying,

“When things are not going so well…having to hold things together is really hard,”

Allen also noted the importance of a family support system, explaining that they encourage each other to talk about their feelings and reassure one another that they will get through difficult times together.

Lily met actor David Harbour on the dating app Raya before they publicly confirmed their relationship in January 2019.

In a July 2022 interview with British GQ, the Stranger Things star recounted that while he was in London filming “Black Widow,” he started chatting with Allen, who was in Italy.

The couple married at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in September 2020.

Allen previously married Sam Cooper from June 2011 until their divorce in June 2018. They have two daughters together, Ethel, who is 13, and Marnie, who is 12.
