David Harbour and his much-younger new girlfriend

American actor, David Harbour, 49 married English singer/actress, Lilly Allen, 39 in 2020. However, their marriage has seen a lot of ups and downs. There were reports in December last year that Lilly and David have split. But neither of them denied or confirmed these rumors.

However, as if indirectly confirming his breakup from Lilly, David was seen in the company of a very young budding model on multiple occasions. The model is just 27 years of age and named Ellie Fallon.

An insider revealed:

“Lily is aware of the romance and has been very upset.”

Lilly has been suffering from eating disorder and depression, she had said. There are also some reports that claim that David had started the extramarital relationship with the model even before the date of the official split of David and Lilly two months back.

The suspicion of David’s infidelity

In October 2024, Ellie had uploaded on her Instagram a pic of herself smoking a cigar. And this was the favorite cigar brand of David. It implies that the two were already meeting before the official news of the couple’s separation was out. Or was this infidelity of David that led to the split?

On seeing the photo, Lilly had suspected that there was more to the story than what was known. An insider told Daily Mail UK:

“Seeing the picture Ellie posted of herself smoking a cigar, taken weeks before Lily and David called it quits, has convinced her that Ellie and David had been seeing each other before they split,”

There was more to David’s love life than this. It came to light that David had a profile on the celebrity dating app, Raya. This discovery also upset Lilly.

It is believed that David met Ellie in the USA in Atlanta where he is shooting for the final season of the show, Stranger things. There were photos of the two in India celebrating the last New Year’s Eve together. Later, they were also together in Georgia. And earlier in this month, David was at the Critic’s Choice Awards ceremony sans his wedding ring.

David Harbour’s and Lilly Allen’s relationship dates back to 2019. They made their relationship official by walking the red carpet of the 26th Screen Actors Guild Awards together. They had exchanged wedding vows on 7th September 2020 in Las Vegas at the Graceland Wedding Chapel during the COVID pandemic and lockdown.

And now, the relationship has seen its end. Lilly has been shaken by this all going-on and had admitted on her podcast Miss Me? in January this year about her mental health struggles. She had said:

“I’ve been spiralling and spiralling,”
“I can’t concentrate on anything except the pain I’m going through. It’s really hard.”

She also revealed that she had gone for therapy:

“I did lots of group therapy and some individual therapy and I just, I needed some time and space away from everything,”
“It’s a journey. It’s a lifelong journey of healing. And it’s not a quick fix.”

Lilly is trying to focus on her work and on healing herself. Lilly is also mother of two daughters with her ex-husband, Sam Cooper (2011-2018), Ethel Mary born in 2011 and Marnie Rose in 2013.
