Love Island star Malin Andersson shares about the tragic loss of her newborn daughter Consy at 4 weeks!
The star of Love Island Malin Andersson is an unfortunate mother. Her newborn died just four weeks after birth.

The newborn baby of Malin Andersson whom she had named Consy died at four weeks of age. Malin is devastated.
Little Consy was a preterm baby and was, born 7 weeks easier than expected.
His birth was on 23 December 2018. Due to complications, the baby was taken to Great Ormond Street hospital in London and kept in the neonatal intensive care unit there.

Today on 23 January 2019, Malin shared with her fans and informed them about her tragic loss and her sadness. Malin wrote:
“Completely in love with you… and my Mum just wanted you to be with her. Your time wasn’t ready yet. Mummy loves you,”
Malin’s post continued thus:
“I stayed with you each day.. you opened your eyes one last time for me and I saw those beautiful big brown eyes. I’m so sorry I couldn’t do anymore. Go be with grandma Consy.”
Malin’s series of tragic losses
Malin has faced three tragic losses before and this is the fourth one. She lost her mother to breast cancer in November 2017. It was the second relapse of breast cancer that killed her mother.
Her father had battled, skin cancer twice before he succumbed to it.
Her co-star on Love Island and her very best friend Sophie Gradon had died last year due to suicide.
Malin Andersson and her announcement of her baby’s birth
Malin had posted a picture of her newborn daughter on her Instagram. The baby could be seen in an incubator with tunes attached. Malin had captioned this picture:
“Happy New Year..Tom and I are so happy to let you all know that our baby girl CONSY arrived in this world 23rd December 2018, seven weeks early,”
She had named her baby Consy as a tribute to her mother. At birth, Malin had notified her fans that the baby had problems. She wrote:
“She is so beautiful, we are totally in love with her and feel so blessed that she is here but unfortunately due to complications, she is currently being cared for at Great Ormond Street.
“We have received a number of messages over the past week and there has been a lot of speculation and so we wanted to share our news with you so you could hear from us first hand.”
The unlucky mother had revealed that she could not even hold her baby. She also said that watching her baby suffer was quite traumatic; even more than losing her mother. She continued:
“This has been the most difficult time I have ever gone through. I just want to hold her.. It’s different to my mum last year. My mum was ready to go.. my little girl isn’t. She has given me the ultimate purpose in my life and I’m not prepared to let her go,”
She requested her fans:
“Please get all your healing and prayers in for baby Consy”
She and her partner Tom Kemp had a whirlwind romance and in 10 months of their togetherness, she was pregnant. There were some cheating allegations against Tom but they again got together.
