Maci Currin, 17 from Texas has the longest legs (female) in the world-Guinness World Records!

Maci Currin breaks world records
The teenager from Texas, Maci Currin is currently 17 years of age. But her name has also entered the Guinness World Records. Maci has a height now of 6 feet and 10 inches.
Thus she is not yet the tallest living woman in the world. But she already has broken the record of the longest legs (female) and longest teenage legs in the world.
Maci is still growing but her right leg now measures 53.255 inches and her left leg which is slightly shorter measures now 52.874 inches.
Thus, she has walked into the Guinness World Records for having the longest legs (female) and also the longest teenager legs. Thus, her legs make up 60% of her height.
She said:
“I hit my head on a lot of stuff. Cars are really difficult.”
Maci and her height
Maci comes from a family of tall people. Her father Cameron is 6 feet and 5 inches tall. And her mother’s height is 5 feet and 7 inches. Thus, Maci has surpassed both her parents in height. Maci’s brother Jacob is 6 feet and 3 inches tall.
Maci had a height of 5 feet and 7 inches when she was 9 years old. She is now taller than Russian basketball player Ekaterina Lisina. Maci who hails from the Austin suburb of Cedar Park in Texas aspires to be a model.
The present living tallest woman in the world is Sun Fang from China. Her height is 7 feet and 3 inches. Hence, Maci has to grow a few more inches to break the record of the tallest living woman in the world.
Sandra Elaine Allen was from the US and her height was 7 feet and 7 inches. But she died in 2008 at the age of 53 years.
Height and bullying
Maci said that she has now embraced her height and appearance. But before, she was bullied a lot in school for her tallness.
She said:
“I was bullied because I was taller than everyone. I guess they didn’t know how to process that.”
“Around sophomore year, I just stopped caring what people thought of me. And when I stopped caring, I wasn’t affected by anything.”
She wants to be a role model for other tall women in the world and give them confidence. But her height does create trouble for her in everyday life. Clothing is a constant issue always.
She said:
“Pants and leggings, I have to get them custom-made.”
Her mother Trish elaborated:
“Special occasions are an added challenge. You’ve got to really plan ahead.”
And Maci has to deal with constant and repeated staring from people around her. But Maci says:
“I hope tall women can see height is a gift. You should really embrace it.”
