Height and bullying

“Around sophomore year, I just stopped caring what people thought of me. And when I stopped caring, I wasn’t affected by anything.”
She wants to be a role model for other tall women in the world and give them confidence. But her height does create trouble for her in everyday life. Clothing is a constant issue always. She said:
“Pants and leggings, I have to get them custom-made.”
Her mother Trish elaborated:
“Special occasions are an added challenge. You’ve got to really plan ahead.”
And Maci has to deal with constant and repeated staring from people around her. But Maci says:
“I hope tall women can see height is a gift. You should really embrace it.”
