Madison Cawthorn in Trouble After His Naked Video Surfaces Online!
- Madison Cawthorn opposition releases his nude video ahead of the election.
- The video shows the North Carolina Republican naked in bed with a friend.
- Cawthorn describes it as being crass with a friend.
- He vows not to let the blackmailer win.
Madison Cawthorn defends himself in response to the leaked video
Madison Cawthorn, the young and energetic representative of the Republicans addressed the video that caused quite a stir. The video was a tactic adopted by his opposition to bringing him shame.
As the video started going viral on the internet, Cawthorn stood for himself and tweeted:
“A new hit against me just dropped. Years ago, in this video, I was being crass with a friend, trying to be funny. We were acting foolish, and joking. That’s it. I’m NOT backing down. I told you there would be a drip drip campaign. Blackmail won’t win. We will.”
The problem came as the 26-year-old is running for reelection with early voting already underway. The main election is due on May 17.
Many of his fellow Republicans are angry and annoyed with Cawthorn’s antics already. He has definitely made his mark as a young politician but he has caused many distractions that made House Republicans angry and frustrated with his controversy.
CNN political commentator SE Cupp called Madison Cawthorn such a joke and an embarrassment.

This is not Madison’s first controversy
This is not the first time Cawthorn is into a controversy. In March, he claimed on a podcast that people in Washington have invited him to do orgies and also used cocaine in front of him.
It raged an uproar and he received backlash from many of his fellow politicians.
Kevin McCarthy was one of the leaders who spoke publicly about the controversial behavior of the youngest congressman. He angrily said that McCarthy should get his act together or he could face internal consequences.
McCarthy told the reporters:
“He’s got to turn himself around,” “I just told him he’s lost my trust, and he’s going to have to earn it back. I laid out everything I find that’s unbecoming. … He’s got a lot of members upset. You can’t just make statements out there.”
The problem did not end there for Madison. The US lawmaker faced charges of driving with a revoked driving license that very month.
