Why was Madonna hospitalized?
Pop singer Madonna was found unresponsive and had to be rushed to a hospital in New York City on Saturday.
The 69-year-old songstress was incubated for at least a day after the incident and is now alert and recovering faster.
Page Six reveals that her daughter Lourdes was by her side throughout the tough time.
The Material Girl singer’s manager, Guy Oseary, revealed on Instagram that the songstress had “developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several-day stay in the ICU.”
While some sources claim that the Grammy winner is now out of danger, her manager explained that “She is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected.”
Fans on the internet wished the songstress good health and a quick recovery. One wrote,
”Her music invokes so many memories for a lot of us. Wish her a speedy recovery”
Another commented,
”Poor thing. I hope she gets better soon. She must be gutted she’s needed to postpone as well as us as fans. Her health must come first.”
A third fan added,
”So crazy, sending prayers to her and that she has a speedy recovery ”
Just before the tragedy, the Papa Don’t Preach hitmaker celebrated her 10-year-old twins Estere and Stella’s elementary school graduation.
Sharing a photo of her daughters last Wednesday, the doting mother wrote alongside, “2 Kweens!!!! Happy Graduation!”
Each one held a bouquet of flowers and wore a blue cap and gown.

Madonna’s World Tour has been postponed due to her health issues
Earlier this year, the Queen of Pop announced that she would launch her Celebration tour as a tribute to the 40th anniversary of her music career.
The 84-date global trek was initially supposed to start on July 15 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver but Oseary’s Instagram post showed that it has now been canceled due to her health
He added,
“We will share more details with you as soon as we have them, including a new start date for the tour and for rescheduled shows,”
The tour was all set to happen in Europe on October 14 before returning to North America on December 13. She vowed to perform her biggest hits from her 1983 self-titled debut through her 2019 album Madame X.
She said in a statement in January,
“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,”
The singer’s last tour was from September 2019 to March 2020 in support of Madame X.
She also created history with her Sticky & Sweet Tour which ran from August 2008 to September 2009. It remains the highest-grossing trek ever by a female artist.
