Marcus Jordan says Larsa Pippen is not a gold digger
Marcus Jordan is defending his girlfriend Larsa Pippen from online trolling.
Jordan and his ladylove appeared on an upcoming episode of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast during which the lovebirds dismissed the rumors that the reality TV star is only after him for his family fortune.
During the promotion of her and Marcus’ new iHeart podcast, Separation Anxiety, she said,
“I feel like the money thing is annoying,”
The younger son of basketball legend Michael Jordan said,
“Yeah, I feel like people try to say Larsa’s a gold digger and she’s after the Jordan money or something,”
The Real Housewives of Miami OG noted that she has her own money, something that Marcus agreed on.
He elaborated,
“She’s such an independent, career-driven woman,”
“She’s got it going on … It’s the one comment or commentary that I’ve got to refrain from commenting back on.”

Why did Pippen and Jordan launch their podcast?
The Larsa Marie jewelry designer, 48, and the Trophy Room Store founder, 32, revealed that the reason they launched their Separation Anxiety was to gain control of all the opinions surrounding their relationship, most importantly their 16-year age gap.
The Bravo star explained,
“Us doing this podcast, it really was therapeutic for us. Like, ‘Hey, let’s talk about this,’ or, ‘People want to know about our age gap. Should we talk about that?’ Because we really don’t view age like that,”
She continued,
“I’ve dated guys that are way older than me and I’ve dated guys that are younger than Marcus. So for me, it wasn’t like I was so concerned about a 16-year age difference,”
“I was kind of concerned about what’s going on in your brain. If you’re mature or not, if you feel good about yourself — that, to me, is more important than someone’s age.”
When did Marcus and Pippen confirm their romance?
Marcus and Pippen confirmed dating rumors that their friendship had already grown into something special with a romantic post on Instagram in January.
The couple announced that they were indeed living their best life.
Marcus also jokingly said that the idea of their podcast’s name arose from Larsa’s desire to always be together.
He said,
“I think that’s what makes it so easy for us is we constantly wanted to be together, like, all the time. Even when we’re apart, we FaceTime and we’re in constant communication with each other,”
“And so it just was fitting for us to kind of name the podcast ’Separation Anxiety.’”
Despite the couple’s growing bond, Pippen’s former husband, Scottie Pippen, and Marcus’ father, Michael, 60, do not share a great relationship since their public falling out in 2020.
