Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd have split up
Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd are no longer a married couple! The two called it quits on their marriage after five years of togetherness.
The “Middle” singer, 33, filed for divorce from husband Ryan Hurd on October 2, in Tennessee, according to court documents obtained by Page Six.
The filing cites “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce, requests the estranged couple’s prenuptial agreement, and seeks joint custody of their 3-year-old son, Hayes.
The separation came as a surprise as Hurd had been defending his then-wife after she quit country music less than a month ago.
He went on to praise Morris alongside sharing her album cover for “The Bridge”,
“She deserved to be celebrated, not just tolerated, I’m so sick of watching my wife get the s-t kicked out of her by the internet. I’m sick of every talking head having some kind of stupid opinion about what she says.”
