Recently, Matt Lauer and Annette Roque came out separately without their wedding ring. This gave a sign that the couple is no more living together. But according to a close source, the two are still living together in the Hamptons.
According to the information from the source, Lauer and Roque are staying at their home in Sag Harbor, New York, with their three children.
As per the reports, 59-year-old Lauer is firing from the Today Show on Nov. 29 because of “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace,”. Moreover, the source also added that his priority at the current time is his family.
“His only focus right now is his family. He’s with them in the Hamptons and he’s working on keeping a low profile while he deals with this tough situation.”
Though they came separately, both Matt and Annette stopped by Jimmy Jims Deli in Sag Harbor. The source, where Matt is a frequent customer stated that Lauer was friendly as he picked up breakfast. Furthermore, the source revealed:
“Matt is a good customer of ours. He’s a really nice guy.”
Moreover, the couple was even spending time with each other before the sexual misconduct scandal. The source stated:
“Matt and Annette lived separately, with Matt spending many nights in his Manhattan apartment,”
Likewise, Annette’s father also gave his statement regarding all the matters. He said that his daughter and Lauer were not attempting to work it out following Lauer’s sexual misconduct scandal.
“She is not going to stay with him and work it out. They are not together trying to work it out.”
