Matt Roloff‘s relationship status is engaged! The Little People, Big World star, 61, confirmed to PEOPLE, on Wednesday, April 19, that he got engaged to his girlfriend Caryn Chandler after six years of dating.

In an exclusive interview with the outlet, the reality TV star also gave a sneak peek at their wedding preparation. He told the outlet,

“After six wonderful years together, I asked Caryn to marry me and she said yes! Our plan is to enjoy our engagement and we are looking forward to a simple but elegant wedding in 2024.”

In an August 2021 episode of “Little People Big World,” Roloff shared how he and Chandler managed to keep their romance ongoing.

“Our grand plan right now is to stay committed, stay in love, go to Arizona and spend a tremendous amount of time together. Then when we’re here in Portland, we’ll live individually and see each other a lot.”

The soon-to-be groom also noted that living together was “a whole new major chapter in life” for him and Chandler, adding that he said they have “the best of all worlds happening.”

The newly-engaged couple took a milestone in their relationship after dating for almost six years.

Prior to dating, Caryn worked as an employee at Roloff Farms where the two instantly connected with each other. Soon after, the reality TV star moved in with Chandler in Arizona.

In March 2017, the couple went Instagram official with their relationship just nine months after the farmer finalized his divorce from ex-wife Amy Roloff.

Matt and Amy were married for almost 28 years before they got divorced in 2015. The former couple also shared four children twins Zach and Jeremy, 32, son Jacob, 26, and daughter Molly, 29.

However, Matt and Caryn have still managed to maintain a cordial friendship with Matt and her now-husband Chris Marek.

Amy and her new husband just marked their first wedding anniversary last August.
