Matthew McConaughey Tells Stories of Those Killed in Uvalde!

Matthew McConaughey speaks up for Uvalde victims
On Tuesday, actor Matthey McConaughey spoke about the victims of the shooting in Texas. The actor delivered a very powerful yet emotional speech in remembrance of the deceased students and teachers last month.
The Interstellar actor demanded more strict action on gun control.
The Uvalde native and his wife Camila Alves spent the past few weeks in his hometown with the families of those killed by 18-year-old, Salvador Ramos.
The actor brought the children’s artwork but everyone was moved to tears when he talked about the green Converse shoes that one of the victims wore during the shooting.
The green Converse shoes were the only thing to identify her body. The girl had drawn a little heart on one of her shoes.

Matthew talks about changes in gun ownership
McConaughey emphasized honoring the 19 children and their teachers killed at Robb Elementary School.
The actor said:
“You know what every one of these parents wanted, what they asked us for? What every parent separately expressed in their own way to Camila and me? That they want their children’s dreams to live on.”
”That they want their children’s dreams to continue, to accomplish something after they are gone. They want to make their loss of life matter,”
While Matthew gave an almost 20-minutes speech from the podium, parents and relatives of the deceased were sobbing uncontrollably.
Talking about the opportunity to enact a meaningful gun legislation form and raise the minimum age for purchase of an AR-15 to 21, the actor said:
“These are reasonable, practical, tactical regulations to our nation, states, communities, schools and homes. Responsible gun owners are fed up with the Second Amendment being abused and hijacked by some deranged individuals.”
