Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara have divorced again! Is it a permanent separation this time?
Argentine professional football player, Mauro Icardi is again having trouble in his marital life. It appears that his relationship with his wife, Wanda Nara has again turned sour. Are they going to separate for good and divorce this time?
Is Mauro Icardi going to divorce?
Argentine professional football player, Mauro Icardi, 31 is in headlines again. This time, it is for his personal life. It appears that his relationship with his model wife, Argentine media personality, Wanda Nara, 37 is in trouble again.
There are reports that Wanda has unfollowed Mauro on his social media. Argentine press speculates that most probably the couple is heading for a divorce and this time, the split might be permanent.
Wanda’s lawyer, Ana Rosenfeld told Argentine journalist Laura Ubfal:
“Wanda has been wanting to make this decision for a long time,”
Wanda seemingly confirmed this split live to US TV presenter Luis Ventura:
“I tried once again due to personal and health issues, but it didn’t work out. Let everyone talk; I leave the things I’ve never spoken about for the end.”
Wanda’s past relationships
Wanda was previously married to Argentine professional football striker, Maxi Lopez, 40. They dated and exchanged wedding vows on 28 May 2008. The couple has three children together. They are son Valentino Gastón López Nara who was born on 25 January 2009, son Constantino López Nara who arrived on 18 December 2010 and son Benedicto López Nara whose birthdate is 20 February 2012.
Wanda accused Maxi of repeated marital infidelity. And Maxi accused Wanda of cheating on her. They filed for divorce on 6 November 2013. Wanda left Italy with her three kids and returned to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Wanda knew Mauro since the days when her then-husband Maxi and Mauro played for the same team during the Serie A in 2013-2014. It is not clear whether she already started a relationship with Mauro before her divorce from Maxi. But Argentine tabloids carried a lot of hate articles against Mauro at that time. It also lead Mauro not being on the national football team of Argentina. The late Argentine professional football player and manager, Diego Maradona also had a heated exchange with Mauro about his relationship with Wanda.
Wanda and Mauro: the relationship
Wanda started dating Mauro after her return to Argentina from Italy. Later, on 27 May 2014, the two walked down the aisle together. Initially, it was a small intimate ceremony in Buenos Aires. But later, on 7 June 2014, they had a big wedding party.
Maxi was upset with Wanda’s relationship and marriage to Mauro. Hence, he refused to shake hands with Mauro during the Serie A match of April 2014 between Maxi’s Sampdoria and Mauro’s Inter. He did the same during the Serie A match in April 2016.
Wanda gave birth to two children with Mauro. They are Francesca Icardi Nara who was born on 19 January 2015 and Isabella Icardi Nara who arrived on 27 October 2016.
Wanda became Mauro’s football agent and had a key role in his shift to Turkish football team, Galatasaray. She had said:
“I knew Istanbul from before, I had been on vacation with the children when Mauro wasn’t there. I convinced Mauro to move to Istanbul.”
On 16 October 2021, Wanda wrote on her Instagram that someone has ruined a family for a slut. The next day, she took her five kids and left Paris for their Milan home. Later, she returned after she reconciled with Mauro.
Less than a year later, on 22 September 2022, she announced her split from Mauro. But two months later, they had again reunited. But in December 2022, they split again. They had another session of reunion and separation in 2023. And in 2024, it is a split again.
