Selling Sunset’s Maya Vander welcomed another baby girl following tragic miscarriages

Maya Vander and her husband Dave Miller are officially a parent to three
A family of five! Maya Vander has expanded her family with her husband Dave Miller.
Selling Sunset star, 39, gave birth to her rainbow baby a girl named Emma Reign. She debuted her newborn on Instagram on Thursday, May 11, sharing an adorable photo from the hospital of herself cradling the infant in her chest while Dave posed on their side.
Alongside the photo, she wrote a lengthy message that reads,
“Welcome to the world Emma Reign! My rainbow baby! This was a long 9 months as I kept my pregnancy as quiet as possible from social media. I gave birth few days ago and words can not express my sense of relief and happiness!”

Similarly, she shows gratitude towards her doctor, “Dr. Senemar” and nurses from Baptist Hospital who helped her throughout the pregnancy. She said,
“I will forever be grateful and yes I’m wearing a mask because of course I had the worse cold but I made it to push a baby with full stuffy nose”
The baby arrived just weeks after the couple made their pregnancy announcement in the first week of May.
Nevertheless, Maya and Dave are already a parent to two children a daughter Elle, 3, and a son Aiden, 4.
Maya Vander feels relief after delivering her rainbow baby
The new mama expressed her excitement in an interview with PEOPLE sharing her delivery journey. She said,
“I kept the pregnancy very quiet until the end. I am feeling so much relief now that I delivered, and we are both safe,”

She went on to reflect on her previous stillbirth as she experienced a pregnancy loss at 38 weeks in December 2021. Vander explained,
“I got induced at 37 weeks. Given I had my stillbirth at 38, my doctor didn’t want to take any chances, even monitoring me twice a week towards the end. I got induced and had a vaginal delivery, like all my children,”
The luxury real estate pro then acknowledged although she had a “fast” vaginal delivery she had “one scare”. She continued,
“Her heartbeat dropped as I was pushing. It turned out that the cord was around the neck. “It was scarier, given my recent loss. My husband was extremely worried, and I was focused on getting her out. My gyno, Dr. Senemar was amazing, as well as the nurses.”
At the end of the conversation, she gave candid about the name of their new infant revealing, “It sounds good with Aiden and Elle,” and the pair wanted the “simple and classy” moniker with something strong.
She said,
“As for Reign, she rules like a queen, and I love that it is a strong meaning; we felt that Emma Reign was perfect for her.”
